Summer tours are always exciting, as this time together affords our teens the opportunity to travel to a variety of places and serve others in many different ways. Our youth have been part of concerts and service projects involving Operation Christmas Child, homeless shelters, after-school programs, Hospice facilities, prisoner rehabilitation programs, retirement homes, assisted nursing care facilities, and food banks. Here are links to the blogs from our 2009-2011 mission trips:
Videos are something new for our blog, and I am NOT a videographer....but there are some wonderful moments captured here. I also got the opportunity to go in the "way back" and film Collier and Spencer doing their thing! These links are NOT public on YouTube...you must have the link in order to view. This was done to protect your privacy. ENJOY!!
**This is the only video of Genesis as I sing with the group....but when I realized how special this song would be to this mission, I quickly grabbed my camera to video their response. The words to this song are written on the very walls of the hall we are singing in. You can see the intensity in their faces and their wonderful response at the end. This was a major encounter with God for our group.!
Grace and Peace, Mr. G
